"Even though the roads are rough, and a little hair-raising at times, the drivers are obviously well experienced professionals, safe, courteous and capable. " —TripAdvisor Reviews of Rainbow Photo Tours
One of the impressive factors for me, in particular...as a photographer, was each
of us having a 'porter' carry all equipment, speaking English,
so eager to care for our 'stuff', so reliable, and so friendly!
In addition to these fabulous guys, Robin has setup a great tour. I
am a person who always prefers to travel alone with a driver/guide,
but this was an extraordinary exception. Being the only guests
in a village with bow/arrow and dart contests was really rewarding
in addition to 2 dance festivals. Some hiking up to monasteries
was challenging to this senior citizen, but worth the trek. Don't
expect 5 star accommodations, but always clean. Food is plain,
but plentiful.
