Bhutan is a very special place and is well worth traveling to, so I have gone there four times, always with Rainbow Photo Tours. Robin's idea of having private cars allows you to stop anywhere for a photo or grab a car with guide and driver and run somewhere for a sunset shot or dawn visit to the temple for prayers. Spending two nights in a small village interacting and photographing the villagers certainly got to me--the village and archery shots are some of my favorites. I am an architect (the architecture in Bhutan is unique in all the world) and not a professional photographer but Robin put me in front of scenes that any professional photographer would love, or even those with a simple point and shoot.
