"Even though the roads are rough, and a little hair-raising at times, the drivers are obviously well experienced professionals, safe, courteous and capable. " —TripAdvisor Reviews of Rainbow Photo Tours
At the end of each day of this trip, I would say, "It just doesn't get any
better than this." And then the next day I'd have to repeat myself because it
just kept getting better and better. Robin brought us to places that we'd never
have seen on any other tour. His knowledge of the country and the personal
relationships that he's nurtured over the years allowed him to provide us with
amazingly unique opportunities to see Bhutanese life from a vantage point that
few will ever be able to experience. His enthusiasm for his subject, and his
desire to share his love of the country and its people with us, was always
evident. I can't count the number of times he'd excitedly ask one of us, "Did
you get the shot???" In looking over my photos, I'm happy to report that yes,
Robin, I got the shot!

I used a Canon Rebel T2i (EOS 550D) for most of my shots. I carried two
lenses: a 18-55mm and a 55-250mm. Occasionally I would use my pocket camera, a
Sony Cyber-shot. I brought along a tripod but virtually never used it. All of my
pictures were taken with available light.
